If you need inspiration, there are many places where you can look for ideas: Instagram, Pinterest, restaurants, and even your friends and families homes. A good place to start is by making a mood board, either a physical real mood board or an online version.
Look at what furniture you already have
You may not have the budget to be able to redesign each room from scratch. So look at what furniture you already possess and work the new schemes around them. It may be possible to recover, paint or renovate some of your existing pieces to make a new style.

It’s a good idea to take some time to really think about what you want and not to rush into anything. As you get to know the house your initial ideas may change completely.

It’s a good idea to start with a single room at a time. Sometimes it is an accessory that will give you the starting point for your colour scheme and design for a room. Accessories like a cushion, a painting, and fabric can be used to cover furniture or used as curtains.

You may have decided upon a scheme for your home. If you are planning on using the same scheme throughout, you don’t need to make each room the same. You can incorporate a common theme in each room, but you can vary the shades of colours you are using to make each room distinct.
